Delete your Medusa account

You can delete your account and the data tied to it at any time. There are two ways.

In the app or on the website

In the app, open Settings → Security and choose Delete account. This opens accounts.nirah.nl/delete-account. You can also go there directly in any browser.
Sign in again if your last sign-in was more than a few minutes ago.
Type the confirmation phrase shown on the page and confirm.

We then sign you out everywhere and delete your account.

By e-mail, if you cannot open the app

Write to privacy@nirah.nl with the subject “Delete my account”, from the e-mail address you signed up with. We confirm by reply and delete the account within one month, usually sooner. You can ask in the same way to delete only some of your data, such as photos or documents.

Before you start

If you are the only owner of an organization that still has other members, hand over ownership to one of them, or remove the members, first. Otherwise the organization would be left without an owner and deletion stops with a message saying so.

What is deleted

Your sign-in: e-mail address, name, password, passkeys and recovery addresses.
All your sessions and signed-in devices, and your push-notification tokens.
Your notification settings and your membership of every organization.
Your personal organization, and any organization where you are the only member, with everything in it.
In organizations that continue, your name disappears from “assigned to”, “completed by” and note authorship. What you entered there stays with the organization it belongs to.

What is kept, and for how long
